A
Baby Just Like You
The
season is upon us now
A time for gifts and giving
And as the year draws to its close
I think about my living
The Christmas
time when I was young,
The magic and the wonder,
But colors dull and candles dim,
And dark my standing under
O little Zachary,
shining light
You've set my soul to dreaming
You've given back my joy in life
And filled me with new meaning
A Savior King
was born that day,
A baby just like you,
And as the Magi came with gifts,
I come with my gift too
That peace
on Earth fills up your time,
That brotherhood surrounds you.
That you may know the warmth of love,
And wrap it all around you
It's just
a wish, a dream I'm told
From days when I was young
Merry Christmas, little Zachary
Merry Christmas, everyone
Merry Christmas, little Zachary
Merry Christmas, everyone

Boy Is Born in Bethlehem
Christmas
Carol Lyrics
A Boy is Born in Bethlehem!
Allelujah! Allelujah!
And joy is in Jerusalem,
Allelujah! Allelujah!
And there
He lay in manger poor,
Allelujah! Allelujah!
Whose rein shall last for ever-more,
Allelujah! Allelujah!
The ass and
ox and all the heard,
Allelujah! Allelujah!
Knew well that Boy to be the Lord!
Allelujah! Allelujah!
And kings
from out the East there were,
Allelujah! Allelujah!
With gold and frankincense and myrrh
Allelujah! Allelujah!
He lived like
us in form and dress,
Allelujah! Allelujah!
Without our taint of wickedness.
Allelujah! Allelujah!
He came our
souls to purify,
Allelujah! Allelujah!
and bring us safe to bliss on high
Allelujah! Allelujah!
Therefore
let us with one accord,
Allelujah! Allelujah!
On this His Birthday praise the Lord!
Allelujah! Allelujah!

A
Child This Day Is Born
A child this
day is born
A child of high renown
Most worthy of a sceptre and a crown
Glad tidings
to all men
Glad tidings sing we may
Because the king of kings
Was born on Christmas day
These tidings
shepherds heard
Whilst watching o'er their fold;
'Twas by an Angel unto them
That night revealed and told.
Glad tidings
to all men
Glad tidings sing we may
Because the king of kings
Was born on Christmas day
Then was there
with the Angel
An host incontinent
Of heavenly bright soldiers,
All from the highest sent.
Glad tidings
to all men
Glad tidings sing we may
Because the king of kings
Was born on Christmas day
They praised
the Lord our God,
And our celestial King;
All glory be in Paradise,
This heavenly host do sing.
Glad tidings
to all men
Glad tidings sing we may
Because the king of kings
Was born on Christmas day
All glory
be to God,
That sitteth still on high,
With praises and with triumph great,
Andjoyful melody.
Glad tidings
to all men
Glad tidings sing we may
Because the king of kings
Was born on Christmas day

A
Christmas Carol
The shepherds
had an angel,
The wise men had a star;
But what have I, a little child,
To guide me home from far,
Where glad stars sing together,
And singing angels are?
The Wise Men
left their country
To journey morn by morn,
With gold and frankincense and myrrh,
Because the Lord was born:
God sent a star to guide them,
And sent a dream to warn.
My life is
like their journey,
Their star is like God's book.
I must be like these good Wise Men,
With heav'n-ward heart and look:
But shall I give no gifts to God?
What precious gifts they took
Lord, I will
give my love to Thee,
Than gold much costlier.
Sweeter to Thee than frankincense,
More prized than the choicest myrrh,
Lord, make me dearer day by day,
Day by day holier; (Day by day holier.).
Nearer and
dearer day by day,
Till I my voice unite
And sing "Glory, glory"
With angels clad in white;
All "Glory, glory" given to Thee,
All "Glory, glory" given to Thee.
Through all
the heav'nly height.
All "Glory, glory."
Through all the heav'nly height.
All "Glory, glory." given to Thee.

Christmas Folk Song
DE win' is
blowin' wahmah,
An' hit's blowin' f'om de bay;
Dey's a so't o' mist a-risin'
All erlong de meddah way;
Dey ain't a hint o' frostin'
On de groun' ner in de sky,
An' dey ain't no use in hopin'
Dat de snow'll 'mence to fly.
It's goin' to be a green Christmas,
An' sad de day fu' me.
I wish dis was de las' one
Dat evah I should see.
Dey's dancin'
in de cabin,
Dey's spahkin' by de tree;
But dancin' times an' spahkin'
Are all done pas' fu' me.
Dey's feastin' in de big house,
all de windahs wide--
Is dat de way fu' people
To meet de Christmas-tide?
It's goin' to be a green Christmas,
No mattah what you say.
Dey's us dat will remembah
An' grieve de comin' day.
Dey's des
a bref o' dampness
A-clingin' to my cheek;
De aih's been dahk an' heavy
An' threatenin' fu' a week,
But not wid signs o' wintah,
Dough wintah'd seem so deah--
De wintah's out o' season,
An' Christmas eve is hyeah.
It's goin' to be a green Christmas,
An' oh, how sad de day!
Go ax de hongry chu'chya'd,
An' see what hit will say.
Dey's Allen
on de hillside,
An' Marfy in de plain;
Fu' Christmas was like springtime,
An' come wid sun an' rain.
Dey's Ca'line, John, an' Susie,
Wid only dis one lef';
An' now de curse is comen'
Wid murder in hits bref.
It's goin' to be a green Christmas--
Des hyeah my words an' see:
Befo' de summah beckons
Dey's many'll weep wid me.

A
Day, A Day of Glory
A day, a day
of glory!
A day that ends our woe!
A day that tells of triumph
Against our vanquish'd foe!
Yield, summer's brightest sunrise,
To this December morn:
Life up your gates, ye Princes
And let the Child be born!
With Gloria
in excelsis
Archangels tell their mirth:
With Kyrie eleyson
Men answer upon the earth:
And angels swell the triumph,
And mortals raise the horn,
Life up you gates, ye Princes,
And let the Child be born.
He comes,
His throne the manger;
He comes, His shrine the stall;
The ox and ass His courtiers,
Who made and governs all:
The "House of Bread" His birth place,
The Prince of wine and corn:
Lift up your gates, ye Princes,
And let the Child be born.
Then bar the
gates, that henceforth
None thus may passage win,
Because the Prince of Israel
Alone hath entered in:
The earth, the sky, the ocean
His glorious way adorn:
Lift up your gates, ye Princes,
And let the Child be born.

Great And Mighty Wonder
A great and
mighty wonder
Our Christmas festal brings:
On earth a lowly infant,
Behold the King of kings!
The Word is
made incarnate,
Descending from on high;
And cherubim sing anthems
To shepherds from the sky.
And we with
them, triumphant,
Repeat the hymn again:
"To God on high be glory,
And peace on earth to men!"
While thus
they sing your Monarch,
Those bright angelic bands,
Rejoice, ye vales and mountains!
Ye oceans, clap your hands!
Since all
He comes to ransom,
By all be He adored;
The Infant born in Bethlehem,
The Savior and the Lord!
And idol forms
shall perish,
And error shall decay,
And Christ shall wield His scepter,
Our Lord and God for aye.

Very Merry Christmas
Carolers Singing
Sleigh Bells ringing
Children laughing at play
Snowflakes falling
Neighbors calling
Happy all of the day
I hope you
have a very merry
Christmas time
More than just an ordinary
Christmas time
May all your friends remember you
With cards to show their friendship true
May those
you love be with you this
Christmas time
To make for you an extra beautiful Christmas time
May all you long for soon come true
That's my Christmas wish for you
Little bells
a tinkling
Little lights a twinkling
Jolly Santas everywhere you go
Lighted candles glimmering
Lovely trees a shimmering
Smiles from people you don't even know
I hope you
have a very merry Christmas time
A very extra ordinary
Christmas time
Because I love you as much as I do
Merry Christmas to you
Tardy shoppers
hurrying
Curious kids a skirying
Lovers under the mistletoe
I love you as much as I do
Remembering a night so long ago
I hope you
have a very merry Christmas time
A very, very, merry, merry, Christmas time
Because I love you as much as I do
Merry Christmas to you
Merry Christmas to you

A
Visit from St. Nicholas
Down the chimney
St. Nicholas came with a bound.
He was dressed all in furs from his head to his foot,
and his clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot;
A bundle of toys he had flung on his back,
And he looked like a pedlar just opening his pack.
His eyes how they twinkled! His dimples how merry!
His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry;
His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow,
And the beard on his chin was as white as the snow.
The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth,
And the smoke it encircled his head like a wreath.
He had a broad face and a little round belly
That shook, when he laughed, like a bowl full of jelly.
He was chubby and plump - a right jolly old elf -
And laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself.

All
I Want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth
Every
body stops and stares at me,
These two teeth are gone as you can see.
I don't know just who to blame for this catastrophe!
But my one wish on Christmas Eve is as plain as it can be!
All I want for Christmas is my two
front teeth,
My two front teeth, see my two front
teeth!
Gee, if I could only have my two
front teeth,
Then I could wish you, "Merry
Christmas."
It
seems so long since I could say,
"Sister Susie sitting on a thistle!"
Every time I try to speak,
All I do is whistle (thhhh).
All I want for Christmas is my two
front teeth,
My two front teeth, see my two front
teeth!
Gee, if I could only have my two
front teeth,
Then I could wish you, "Merry
Christmas.

All
I Want For Christmas Is You
I don't want
a lot for Christmas
There's just one thing I need
I don't care about presents
Underneath the Christmas tree
I just want you for my own
More than you could ever know
Make my wish come true
All I want for Christmas is you.
I don't want
a lot for Christmas
There is just one thing I need
I don't care about presents
underneath the Christmas tree
I don't need to hang my stocking
There upon the fireplace
Santa Claus won't make me happy
With a toy on Christmas day
I just want you for for my own
More than you could ever know
Make my wish come true
All I want for Christmas is you
You baby
I won't ask
for much this Christmas
I won't even wish for snow
I'm just gonna keep on waiting
Underneath the mistletoe
I won't make a list and send it
To the North Pole for Saint Nick
I won't even stay awake to
Hear those magic reindeer click
'Cause I just want you here tonight
Holding on to me so tight
What more can I do
Baby all I want for Christmas is you
You
All the lights
are shining
So brightly everywhere
And the sound of children's
Laughter fills the air
And everyone is singing
I hear those sleigh bells ringing
Santa won't you bring me the one I really need
Won't you please bring my baby to me
Oh, I don't
want a lot for Christmas
This is all I'm asking for
I just want to see my baby
Standing right outside my door
Oh I just want him for my own
More than you could ever know
Make my wish come true
Baby all I want for Christmas is
You
All I want
for Christmas is you baby
All I want for Christmas is you baby

All
My Heart This Night Rejoices
All my heart
this night rejoices,
As I hear, far and near, sweetest angel voices;
"Christ is born," their choirs are singing,
Till the air, everywhere, now their joy is ringing.
Forth today
the Conqueror goeth,
Who the foe, sin and woe, death and hell, o'erthroweth.
God is man, man to deliver;
His dear Son now is one with our blood forever.
Shall we still
dread God's displeasure,
Who, to save, freely gave His most cherished Treasure?
To redeem us, He hath given
His own Son from the throne of His might in Heaven.
Should He
who Himself imparted
Aught withhold from the fold, leave us broken hearted?
Should the Son of God not love us,
Who, to cheer sufferers here, left His throne above us?
If our blessèd
Lord and Maker
Hated men, would He then be of flesh partaker?
If He in our woe delighted,
Would He bear all the care of our race benighted?
He becomes
the Lamb that taketh
Sin away and for aye full atonement maketh.
For our life His own He tenders
And our race, by His grace, meet for glory renders.
For it dawns,
the promised morrow
Of His birth, Who the earth rescues from her sorrow.
God to wear our form descendeth;
Of His grace to our race here His Son He sendeth.
Hark! a voice
from yonder manger,
Soft and sweet, doth entreat, "Flee from woe and danger;
Brethren, come; from all that grieves you
You are freed; all you need I will surely give you."
Come, then,
let us hasten yonder;
Here let all, great and small, kneel in awe and wonder,
Love Him Who with love is yearning;
Hail the star that from far bright with hope is burning.
Blessèd
Savior, let me find Thee!
Keep Thou me close to Thee, cast me not behind Thee!
Life of life, my heart Thou stillest,
Calm I rest on Thy breast, all this void Thou fillest.
Thee, dear
Lord, with heed I'll cherish;
Live to Thee and with Thee, dying, shall not perish;
But shall dwell with Thee for ever,
Far on high, in the joy that can alter never.

All
Through The Night
[Welsh lullaby adapted for Christmas]
Sleep,
my child, and peace attend thee.
All through the night.
Guardian angels God will lend thee
All through the night.
Soft the drowsy hours are creeping
Hill and vale in slumber sleeping.
God his loving vigil keeping
All through the night.
While
the moon her watch is keeping
All through the night.
While the weary world is sleeping
All through the night.
Through your dreams youÆre softly stealing
Visions of delight revealing
Christmas time is so appealing
All through the night.
You,
my God, a Babe of wonder
All through the night.
Dreams you dream can't break from thunder
All through the night.
Children's dreams cannot be broken;
Life is but a lovely token;
Christmas should be softly spoken
All through the night

Angels
And Shepherds
Hark all ye
shepherds, come join in our song.
Hark all ye shepherds, for Jesus is born.
Lo he is lying, born in a manger,
Jesus, annointed to be our Savior. Alleluia!
Hark all ye
shepherds, arise from your sheep.
Hark all ye shepherds, the Christ child asleep.
Mary, the mother, quietly singing,
From God to man salvation is bringing. Alleluia!
Angels adore
him, men bow before him, heaven and earth proclaim!
Prophets of old his coming foretold and men ever praise his name.
Come and adore him, Jesus our Savior,
He dwells among us, now and forever. Alleluia!

Angels
From the Realms of Glory
Angels, from
the realms of glory,
Wing your flight o'er all the earth;
Ye, who sang creation's story,
Now proclaim Messiah's birth:
Come and worship, Come and worship
Worship Christ, the new-born King.
Shepherds
in the field abiding,
Watching o'er your flocks by night,
God with man is now residing;
Yonder shines the infant Light
Come and worship...
Sages, leave
your contemplations,
Brighter visions beam afar;
Seek the great Desire of nations;
Ye have seen his Natal star.
Come and worship...
Saints before
the altar bending,
Watching long in hope and fear,
Suddenly the Lord, descending,
In His temple shall appear.
Come and worship...

The
Angels Song
Now let us
sing the Angel's song
That rang so sweet and clear,
When heav'nly light and music fell
On earthly eye and ear;
To Him we sing, our Saviour King,
Who always deigns to hear:
"Glory to God, and peace on earth."
He came to
tell the Father's love,
His goodness, truth and grace;
To show the brightness of His smile,
The glory of His face;
With His own light, so full and bright,
The shades of death to chase.
"Glory to God, and peace on earth."
He came to
bright the weary ones
True peace and perfect rest;
To take away the guilt and sing
Which darken'd and distressed,
That great and small might hear His call,
And gain we raise on high.
"Glory to God, and peace on earth."
He came to
bring a glorious gift,
Good will to men; - and why?
Because He loved us, Jesus came
For us to live and die;
Then sweet and long, the Angels' song,
Again we raise on high.
"Glory to God, and peace on earth."

Angels
We Have Heard On High
Angels
we have heard on high, sweetly singing o'er the plain,
And the mountains in reply echo back their joyous strains.
Gloria in excelsis Deo, Gloria
in excelsis Deo.
Shepherds,
why this jubilee? Why your joyous strains prolong?
Say what may the tidings be, which inspire your heavenly song.
Gloria in excelsis Deo, Gloria
in excelsis Deo.
Come
to Bethlehem and see Him whose birth the angels sing;
Come adore on bended knee Christ the Lord, the newborn King.
Gloria in excelsis Deo, Gloria
in excelsis Deo.
See
within a manger laid Jesus, Lord of heaven and earth!
Mary, Joseph lend your aid, with us sing our Saviour's birth.
Gloria in excelsis Deo, Gloria
in excelsis Deo

The
Annual Animal Christmas Ball
Ah, Ah, Ah,
Ah,
Ah, See the donkeys in the wild
See the rabbits by the mile
Racin' rather madly down the trail
Honkin' geese and quackin' ducks
Little Lambs and great big bucks
Never even stopping to inhale
See the horned
rhinoceros
And the duck-billed platypus
Go with greater gusto than a gale
And it's not
polite to laugh
When the camel and giraffe stop
To thumb their noses at the snail
What's gotten
into all of them
What can it be that's callin' them
Everybody whose anybody is here
Why, it's the biggest shindig of the year
ANNUAL, ANIMAL
CHRISTMAS BALL
It's the ANNUAL, ANIMAL CHRISTMAS BALL
And a very good time will be had by all
At the ANNUAL, ANIMAL CHRISTMAS BALL
Nellie elephant
gracfully taps her toe
Tessie turkey is searchin' for Romeo
And Penelope Porcupine stops the show
At the ANNUAL, ANIMAL CHRISTMAS BALL

Are
My Ears On Straight?
I'm a little
doll who was dropped and broken
Falling off my mommy's knee
I'm a little doll who has just been mended
Now won't you tell me please.
Are My Ears
On Straight, Is my nose in place
Have I got a cute expression on my face?
Are my blue eyes bright, Do I look all right?
To be taken home Christmas Day?
When I first
came here, Just a month ago.
Brought in by a little girl who loved my so.
She began to cry, 'Til they told her I
Could be taken home Christmas Day.
Christmas
Eve is drawing nearer, And I'm getting scared
Wish I could see in a mirror, How I've been repaired.
I'll be called for soon, But I'm worried so
Will she love me like she did a month ago.
Are My Ears
On Straight? I can hardly wait.
To be taken home Christmas Day

As
Each Happy Christmas
As each happy
Christmas dawns on Earth again
Comes the Holy Christ child
In the hearts of men
Enters with
His blessing into ev'ry home
Guides and guards our footsteps
As we go and come
All unknown,
beside me
He will ever stand
And will safely lead me
With His own right hand

As
Lately We Watched
As
lately we watch'd o'er our fields thro' the night,
A star there was seen of such glorious light.
All thro' the night, angels did sing,
Carols so sweet of the birth of
a King.
A
King of such beauty was ne'er before seen,
And Mary His mother so like a queen.
Blessed be the hour, welcome the morn,
For Christ our dear Saviour on earth
now is born.
His
throne is a manger, His court is a loft,
But troops of bright angels, in lays sweet and soft,
Him they proclaim, our Christ by name,
And earth, sky and air straight
are filled with his fame.
Then
shepherds, be joyful; salute your new King,
Let hills and vales ring to the song that ye sing
Blessed be the hour, welcome the morn,
For Christ our dear Saviour on earth
now is born

As
With Gladness Men Of Old
As with gladness,
men of old
Did the guiding star behold
As with joy they hailed its light
Leading onward, beaming bright
So, most glorious Lord, may we
Evermore be led to Thee.
As with joyful
steps they sped
To that lowly manger bed
There to bend the knee before
Him Whom Heaven and earth adore;
So may we with willing feet
Ever seek Thy mercy seat.
As they offered
gifts most rare
At that manger rude and bare;
So may we with holy joy,
Pure and free from sin's alloy,
All our costliest treasures bring,
Christ, to Thee, our heavenly King.
Holy Jesus,
every day
Keep us in the narrow way;
And, when earthly things are past,
Bring our ransomed souls at last
Where they need no star to guide,
Where no clouds Thy glory hide.
In the heavenly
country bright,
Need they no created light;
Thou its Light, its Joy, its Crown,
Thou its Sun which goes not down;
There forever may we sing
Alleluias to our King!

Asking
For A Lodging
Open these
portals,
I pray, for the love of heaven.
Open your heart
For a poor woman waits outside.
Weary from travel,
We seek here a place to rest.
Please give us lodging
For my wife can no longer ride.

Auld
Lang Syne
The good old times or "days long past".
Should auld
acquaintance be forgot
And never brought to mind,
Should auld acquaintance be forgot
And days of auld lang syne.
For auld lang syne, my dear,
For auld lang syne.
We'll take a cup of kindness yet,
For auld lang syne.

Ave
Maria (German)
Ave Maria!
Jungfrau mild,
Erhöre einer Jungfrau Flehen,
Aus diesem Felsen starr und wild
Soll mein Gebet zu dir hinwehen,
Wir schlafen sicher bis zum Morgen,
Ob Menschen noch so grausam sind.
O Jungfrau, sieh' der Jungfrau Sorgen,
O Mutter, hör' ein bittend Kind!
Ave Maria!
Ave Maria!
Unbefleckt!
Wenn wir auf diesen Fels hinsinken
Zum Schlaf, und uns dein Schutz bedeckt,
Wird weich der harte Fels uns dünken
Du lächelst, Rosendüfte wehen
In dieser dumpfen Felsenkluft.
O Mutter, hör' des Kindes Flehen,
O Jungfrau, eine Jungfrau ruft!
Ave Maria!
Ave Maria!
Reine Magd!
Der Erde und der Luft Dämonen,
Von deines Auges Huld verjagt,
Sie können hier nicht bei uns wohnen
Wir woll'n uns still dem Schicksal beugen,
Da uns dein heil'ger Trost anweht;
Du Jungfrau wolle hold dich neigen,
Dem Kind, das für den Vater fleht!
Ave Maria

Away
In A Manger
Away in
a manger, no crib for His bed,
The little Lord Jesus laid down His sweet head,
The stars in the sky looked down where He lay,
The little Lord Jesus asleep on the hay.
The
cattle are lowing, the poor Babe awakes,
But little Lord Jesus no crying He makes,
I love, Thee, Lord Jesus, look down from the sky
And stay by my cradle 'til morning is nigh.
Be
near me, Lord Jesus, I ask Thee to stay
Close by me forever and ever I pray.
Bless all the dear children in Thy tender care
And lead us to heaven to live with Thee there
