The Cousin Connection was originally a Sato Family Newsletter. It was started in January 1981 in loving memory of and after the death of my maternal grandmother Grace Virginia Woods Sato on December 21, 1980.
When I originally did these newsletters it was with an IBM Selectric typewriter, the High of High Tech in those days, and I paid $100.00 for it. Cut and paste meant scissors, glue, white out and white out strips were always within reach and a spell checker was your desktop dictionary. The most popular and ubiquitous word processors were pencils and pens. If you happened to have had $10,000 to spare, you could have gotten a new fangled device called a personal computer. The original issues had typos, spelling errors, grammatical errors, etc. I am very much aware of them now and have corrected as many as I could find.
Some issues originally had more material than presented here and the format used here is different from the original issues. Each issue is in PDF format.
